Enugu Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has told President Muhammadu Buhari to send money to his ministry or face health challenges again.
Mbaka made the comments during the 2018 harvest and bazaar celebration at his Adoration Ground in Emene.
“If Buhari will remain ungrateful to this ministry, he is going nowhere,” Mbaka warned.
Mbaka said he worked for the Buhari government but got nothing in return. In 2017, Buhari spend months in a London hospital and was reportedly near death after his health deteriorated.
Mbaka warned that Buhari’s health could deteriorate again and suggested the Nigerian president could even die this time around.
“All the people that they (the Buhari government) are giving allocation, what do they have that we don’t have?” Mbaka asked.
“How many times had he almost died? And he should not take it for granted that he is now healthy. Anything can happen and his health will collapse,” Mbaka said.
Meanwhile, Buhari, through an ally, promised to build a N2 million medical facility at Mbaka’s church by the end of January 2019.
