Nigerians have taken to social media to debate over the President Muhammadu Buhari decision to removed Matthew Seiyefa, as the acting Director-General (DG) of the Department of State Service (DSS) and appoint Yusuf Magaji Bichi (fwc).

Seiyefa was appointed by then Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, as Acting Director-General of DSS following the sacking of Lawal Daura by Osinbajo on August 7, some Nigerians are of the view that Buhari should have let the appointment stand. Whereas, some other think it was a good desion.

According to those in support of Buhari’s decision, a president has the right to appoint people he trust into such sensitive positions and that Buhari wouldn’t be the first Nigeria president to do such.
