A triple shooting at a Florida high school football game has left one person dead and two other injured, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The gun play happened just after 10 p.m. at Raines High School as the school played against Lee High School.
It’s not clear if the shooting stemmed from a sports rivalry or something else.
A week ago, in Palm Beach, Fla., two men were shot and wounded at a high school football game.
There had been heavy security at the game and all guards checked all attendees with a metal detector wand, News4Jax reported.
The person fatally shot was a former Raines student, City Councilman Garrett Dennis told the news station. The two injured students went to Lee.
