JUST IN: Lai Mohammed To Appear In Court, Faces ‘Jail Term’ For Making N200 Million Reckless Allegations, Without Providing Any Proof

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, has told the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, to get ready to prove his N200 million allegation against him in court.

Recall, that Lai Mohammed had on behalf of the Federal Government, on Friday, listed the PDP National Chairman, as one of those who looted the ‎public treasury during the reign of the now leading opposition party.

Reacting, in a statement, Secondus through his Special ‎Assistant on Media, Ike Abonyi, denied receiving N200 million from the Office of the former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

The statement reads: “The attention of the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, has been drawn to a Press Conference addressed by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Friday, claiming that the National Chairman collected N200 million from the purse of the National Security Adviser, NSA.

“Prince Secondus is challenging Mr. Mohammed to be ready to establish his allegations in court immediately”, he said.

He further stated that the agenda of the Minister, was to damage his reputation and distract him from serving his party.
