Report reaching Post-Nigeria, on Tuesday, revealed that the Department of State Security Services, DSS, on Tuesday morning, made an attempt to arrest former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.
His purported attempted arrest came barely a few hours after he condemned the Fulani herdsmen’s attack on Benue, Taraba, and Adamawa States.
In an exclusive message to Post-Nigeria by Lere Olayinka, the Media Aide to Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, he stated that the DSS have started going after those Leaders who had condemned the massive killings allegedly orchestrated by Fulani herdsmen in recent times.
Lere Olayinka’s message to Post-Nigeria reads:
“Instead of solving the problem of Fulani Herdsmen, DSS is now after those who spoke against the senseless killings by the herdsmen in Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, and others.
“I learnt that men of the DSS are now after Chief Femi Fani-Kayode. They were in his house yesterday (Monday) night, and this morning(Tuesday), but he was not at home.”
He added: “Instead of running after those Leaders of Miyetti Allah that threatened the Government and the people of Benue, DSS is now after people like FFK, because they condemned the Fulani herdsmen’s killing of Nigerians.”
